A new kind of academy
DevSkill is launching its first cohorts. We are building the programme we wished existed when we were learning: taught live, graded by a person, and judged on what you can build.
Why we started
Most courses end with a video. Ours end with something you can show.
Online learning solved access and left the hard part untouched. Anyone can finish a playlist. Very few finish with work an employer can evaluate, and a completion certificate that arrives for watching cannot tell those two people apart.
So we built the opposite. Instructor-led tracks meet four evenings a week. Assignments are reviewed by the person who taught the class. A certificate is issued when the work clears a mark, and it carries a serial anyone can verify against our records.
We are early and would rather say so than invent a history. What is on this site is the programme itself — the levels, the hours, the standard the work has to meet.

Taught by staff, not by a marketplace
Every instructor here is part of the DevSkill team. Nobody uploads a course and disappears, because the person who runs your class is also the person who marks your assignments and signs off your final project. That is why we can put a standard behind a certificate instead of a completion percentage — and it is the main reason we keep the catalogue small enough to teach properly.
