Teach at DevSkill

We are hiring instructors for the launch cohorts. This is a staff role, not a marketplace listing — you teach live, you mark the work, and you own the programme you run.

What the job actually is

Four things, and the second one is the reason the other three matter.

Run the live sessions

Instructor-led tracks meet four evenings a week, ninety minutes a session. You teach your own cohort from start to finish rather than inheriting someone else's slides.

Mark the work yourself

Assignments and final projects are graded by the person who taught the class. This is the reason our certificates carry a standard, and it is the part of the job we will not outsource.

Shape the curriculum

Programmes are built in-house and revised every cohort. What you learn from teaching a track goes straight back into it — you are not locked to a syllabus you had no say in.

Stay with your cohort

You see the same learners from the first session to their final submission, which is what makes mentorship possible at all. Nobody uploads a course and disappears.

How hiring works

Three steps, and a real conversation in the middle of it.

Apply

Tell us your field, your background, and the programme you would want to teach.

Talk it through

A conversation about the track, how you would teach it, and the terms of the role.

Teach a cohort

You take a track end to end, with the curriculum team supporting the first run.

Who we are looking for

People who have done the work professionally and can explain it to someone who has not. We care much more about whether you can teach a hard idea clearly than about how many years you have behind you, and we would rather hire one person who marks every submission properly than five who record videos.

It is a paid staff position. We settle the terms in the conversation rather than advertising a figure we might not be able to hold to.

Tell us what you would teach

The application takes a few minutes. Be specific about the programme you have in mind — that is the part we read most closely.
